About the job Sales Representative | Hotel, Opera

As a Sales Representative at The Hiring Company, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling our hotel's services and facilities to corporate clients, travel agencies, and other potential customers. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of the hospitality industry and market trends.
Responsibilities
• Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities to maximize room sales revenue. This includes prospecting and building relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential customers. Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities.
• Hotel Management System: Support the Hotel Management System and manage the room booking situations and customers' enquiries with ad-hoc duties.
• Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales strategies to promote the hotel's room offerings. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials, participate in trade shows, and organize sales events. Leverage digital marketing channels and social media platforms to reach a wider audience and generate leads.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. Provide personalized service and respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally. Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs, address any concerns, and upsell additional room services.
• Negotiation and Contract Management: Prepare and negotiate room contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with clients. Ensure that all agreements are in line with the hotel's policies and profitability targets. Collaborate with the legal and finance departments to ensure the accuracy and compliance of all contracts.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, including room sales activities, revenue forecasts, and market analysis. Monitor and analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase room occupancy and revenue.
Qualifications
• Degree holder in Business Management, Hospitality Management or relevant discipline.
• A year or more experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of the Hong Kong hospitality market and room sales channels.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales tools (Opera, MS Office).
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding room sales targets.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
